Amazing hotel - unique and different from the usual cookie cutter chain hotels. It really is a beautiful and historic building, newly rebuilt into this hotel. The staff did not really take any time to explain key info like check out times, facilities on site etc but we were only there one night so did not impact us much. The place is so clean especially being brand new, too bad they decided to install carpet which is going to get old and dirty fast but for now looks very nice. Our double room was huge! Great separation of space which worked well for our family of 4. Last big of advice, mgt should really drill the cleaning and maintenance to the staff. Which the room was clean, since I am a clean freak, raised the toilet seat and sadly saw some old urine stains on the underside of the seat. I travel with cleaning wipes so we clear to clean that as a first step. So not ideal. However I did provide them the feedback and does not take away from the property. Location is fantastic close to market square. I would definitely stay here again

The staff were amazing. I was traveling solo with a 4 yo, which was not necessarily the target clientele of this boutique hotel. However, the experience was exceptional for me and my daughter. I liked having a more upscale hotel and she LOVED the restaurant staff who showered her with love and attention…literally the cooking staff were playing hide and seek in the lobby. The hotel manger and team went out of his way to make us feel welcome and my playful 4 yo feel appreciated. I also loved the lightening in the rooms, which allowed for dimming in a way that actually lets kiddos sleep but also lets caregivers find the way around the room, which is rare for even kid focused hotels. While I don’t think this would be a great fit if you are looking for a family focused hotel, if you are looking for something more refined and have a (mostly) rule following pre-schooler, this is a great hotel to explore Center in Square and all that downtown Roanoke has to offer.

The hotel being converted from an old bank building makes for a very cool building set-up. I really like that they elevators are keycard access only so you don't have a lot of unnecessary foot traffic on the upper levels, despite the restaurant downstairs being busy. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the shower was especially great. Actually the plumbing in the building in general is a huge plus, because the water pressure is good and the hot water comes as soon as you turn it on. Had a nice sunset view of the city from my room on the 6th floor that made a nice backdrop for my stay. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is really ideal for exploring most of the best downtown restaurants in the area because it's all within walking distance.

I've stayed at The Liberty Trust several times since it opened and the the high quality experience there has remained consistent. The beds and linens are luxury level and the bathroom and toiletries rival any 5* hotel. Housekeeping is A+ and the Staff are A+++. The lobby bar provides a relaxing experience in a beautifully restored architectural gem and service is excellent. The small plates and drinks are thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Thanks to you all for your gracious hospitality!

I did not avail myself of any food options in house, but the space was lovely. The room was small but perfect for myself and I really enjoyed the view of the Mill Mountain Star. It was cold when I arrived but the heat turned on quickly. Parking was simple and close by (and I was allowed to park a few hours ahead of checking in) and I loved being able to walk around downtown (in spite of the 15 degree weather). I would definitely stay at the Liberty Trust again.
